Randy Phillips is a Regional & National Award winning video producer who is a lifetime resident of Quincy, IL.
Although he has been creating film and video presentations for over 35 years, his formal career began at KHQA-TV in 1982 as a control room operator.
He was promoted to Senior Director of the 6 & 10pm news where he remained for the next 13 years until accepting a management position in the commercial production department where he won 20+ regional / national awards for his video producing, writing & directing skills.
In 2000, he became Production Supervisor of Insight Media Advertising (formerly AT&T Cable) while also pursuing a career as a commercial pilot for DOT Foods Inc.
Randy now operates a highly successful video production studio where he produces many of the TV commercials you see on local broadcast & cable outlets as well as working with Illinois Public Broadcasting for the Emmy Award winning Illinois Stories on WQEC/WSEC/WMEC.
In 2006, Randy’s Video & Multimedia merged with Reed Promotional Media, the foremost advertising agency in the tri-state area. This created a partnership to bring the highest quality electronic & print media to businesses & individuals throughout the Midwest & across the nation.
Your wedding will be recorded & edited with the same equipment we use to produce video for broadcast. We then author your DVD as a preservation of the most special day of your life. Something you will be able to look back at years from now & rekindle the feeling & emotions you experienced that day. We also permanently archive your dvd for any future copies you may request.
The wedding ceremony is recorded using a minimum of 2 broadcast quality digital video cameras to provide total coverage of the event. Wireless microphones are placed on the groom & presiding official to capture crystal clear audio of the ceremony.
The reception is covered by a single, roving camera to capture all the action & emotions of your guests as they celebrate. All the “traditional” events will be taped as well as any other special events.
